Total rewards are the programs, practices, and elements that collectively define an organization's strategy to attract, motivate, and retain employees.

These elements are commonly defined as compensation, benefits, performance/recognition, career development, and Work-Life balance.

This training session reviews the concept of total rewards, and explains the various types of rewards, both direct and indirect.

About Your Speaker

Marylou Ponzi Kay, MA, SPHR is the founder and president of MPK Associates, a human resources consultancy launched after a career of over twenty five years working at such companies as American Express, Benetton, Canon, and JP Morgan.

A member of the Society for Human Resources Management, Marylou serves on the board of the Greater Miami Society for Human Resources Management, and has been an adjunct Professor in Human Resources at Florida International University and New York Institute of Technology. She also was Program Director for Southeastern College, creating an HR Associates degree program.

Possessing a practical, down to earth presentation style, Marylou is able to share her real world experiences to illuminate how to approach any situation. Marylou has well-developed competencies in compensation and benefits, talent management, and employee relations. She is fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian.
