How To Document Your Payroll Procedures
The Sarbanes Oxley Act requires that all areas of accounting within a company have well-documented policies and procedures. This includes payroll.

While every payroll professional knows that all employees must be paid accurately, that contracts and wage and hour laws are adhered to, and that each paycheck is taxed properly, actually writing procedures to do so is an arduous task, especially considering the myriad rules and changes.

Don't know what to include - or exclude - or even where to start? Don't worry, this training session will help.

Mark Schwartz, an ex-Payroll Auditor himself, will take you through the process step-by-step. You'll learn from an expert the methods for putting together a useful and complete payroll manual, including the topics to include and how to make sure all users get an opportunity for input. This will not only add value to your company, but to your career as a payroll professional.
